William C. Page

Pastor, (M.Div.)

"What Defines You?" was the question of the month in a recent church newsletter.  My response:

Jesus, Bernadette, Dad/Grandpa, Pastor.  That pretty much captures me.  To a lesser extent - cars (newbie motorcyclist), fixing something that broke, local history and a recovering news junkie.

The Gospel is the greatest News ever.  It is my privilege to communicate it to a people who love Christ.  One of my favorite verses in the Bible is Joseph's declaration to his brothers in Genesis 50:20.

Be confident of this - God has not abandoned you. No, not even in your darkest hour.

Sing to the LORD, praise his name; proclaim his salvation day after day. Declare his glory among the nations, his marvelous deeds among all peoples. Psalm 96:2,3

At Terrill Road Baptist, we seek to exalt the Lord Jesus in song by singing gospel-oriented lyrics which help to remind us of gospel truths, and to proclaim them out loud to ourselves and each other.

Madeleine Farrell

Sunday School Director

Madeleine has been a member of TRBC for 35 years and can honestly say her time in Sunday School has been such a blessing and has not only helped her grow in the Word, but also provided a strong community that has encouraged her faith. "These words, which I am commanding you today, shall be on your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your sons and shall talk of them when you sit in your house and when you walk by the way and when you lie down and when you rise up. You shall bond them as a sign on your hand and they shall be as frontals on your forehead. You shall write them on your doorpost of your house and on your gates." Deuteronomy 6:6-9
