We started the new year with a sermon entitled "There Came Wise Men". Pastor Bill talked about the gifts they brought: gold, which is fitting for a King, frankincense, which was a holy thing set apart for use by the priests in the temple sacrifice during worship, and myrrh, which was a funeral spice. As it was known and believed by these wise men, let us be determined to believe that Christ is King, that He is worthy of our worship, and that He came to make Himself our sacrifice.
